The Pi Gamma Lambda Education Foundation

Morrow/Clayton County

Pi Gamma Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on January 6, 1989 at Fort McPherson Installation.  Just one of many programs executed under the auspices of the organization is the fraternity’s “Go To High School, Go To College” initiative.  The program concentrates on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement. Statistics prove that school completion is the single best predictor of future economic success.  Young men that participate gain tools, information, and learn strategies that facilitate that success.

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation

Marietta/Cobb County

In its relatively short history, the Omicron Mu Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity has worked as a prominent and guiding force throughout Cobb County. Randal D. Ponder Memorial Scholarship

Stockbridge/Henry County

In an effort to provide financial support to deserving high school seniors, the Rho Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. established the Randal D. Ponder Memorial Scholarship.  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for communities.  This scholarship is named in honor of one of the Chapter’s Founders who was a trailblazer in the area of education in the Henry County area.

Alpha Atlanta Education Foundation, Inc.

Atlanta/Fulton County

Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Eta Lambda Chapter, believe whole-heartedly in providing scholarships for youth. The annual educational foundation fundraising campaign (driven through JustGive.org) seeks to raise $25,000 to build a sustainable endowment in order to provide an ongoing legacy of giving to Atlanta youth to expand their educational opportunities.  Each year, the chapter awards numerous scholarships to deserving high school seniors in the metropolitan Atlanta area.

The RKL Education Foundation

Duluth/Gwinnett County

The RKL Education Foundation, Inc.(RKLEF) is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit organization based in Gwinnett County, GA. RKLEF was established in May 14, 2002 by nine men interested in consolidating their efforts in mentoring youth while uplifting humanity through charitable, educational, and social activities. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Rho Kappa Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. seated in Duluth, Georgia.

The Charles H. Wesley Education Foundation

Decatur/Dekalb County

The mission of the Charles H. Wesley Education Foundation is to fund the education programs of the DeKalb Alphas and to provide scholarships for college bound youth that are mentored by the men of the chapter.  These programs currently serve young men from the fourth grade through high school. Soon, a component of the education programs will extend even to post-secondary school students. These programs operate as a feature of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s National Program Go to High School, Go To College initiative.

The Omicron Phi Lambda Education Foundation

East Point/South Fulton County

The Omicron Phi Lambda Education Foundation, Inc. is the non-profit charitable arm of the Omicron Phi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. which focuses on scholarship, programs, and training and development of the youth.  The Educational Foundation encompasses the implementation of the Go-to-High School Go-to-College initiative, Project Alpha, voter Education / Registration efforts, The Hobart Jarrett Debate Competition, Leadership Development Institutes, and the professional and personal development thrust of the Fraternity – Alpha University.
